Dear All,
As a resurging nation gears up for the 15th Lok Sabha elections, we need to make sure that history is not repeated again. One in five Members of Parliament elected in India’s 2004 general election had pending criminal cases against them, either awaiting trial or on appeal after conviction. About half the cases are for murder, violent robbery or rape. We have had enough with false representation and it is the right opportunity to clean up the parliament! Members of Parliament cannot represent citizens if they’ve been convicted by the courts. And if the law allows it, the law needs to be changed. It's profoundly immoral that they are allowed to represent us. Please vote for the right candidate. A clean candidate. Let’s vote for a clean parliament.
